from memory of when i fiddled with it, it just updates automatically. Might be worth testing it a few times adding/deleting/moving events though, seeing what it does to the ics file....

Hi All,

forgive my ignorance, but how do I setup this plugin to view a Google calendar? What URL do I put in the appropriate fields?

Also, if you are so inclined can you also tell me how I can view a private google calendar with this plugin?

Thanks,
Jam.z

To find the URL to your calendars you need to

* 1st click on "manage calendars" (on the google calendar site, bottom left).
* Then choose a calendar from the "my calendars" list.
* If you then click the ICAL button in the "calendar addresses" section, the required URL should popup.

I havnt worked on this plugin for a long time so I assume nothing has changed google's end.

found an error ...

when standing on a via google calendar coming event, esc didnt work to exit screen, when came back from the detail screen ...

further it would be nice to let the week start with monday, and why not showing the days in the calendarview ?
and an option to show the calendarweek would be nice ....

the "@todaysDate" cannot be translated into german Sad it would be better only the have in the variable only the actual date
and not the word "Today:" in front of it ... this could be written in the skin.xml file ....

a calendarevent over more days (e.g. holidays Wink) is shown as marked in the calendarview, but the eventtext is only shown on the first day of this event ...

but overall the plugin is fantastic !!! thnx for that Wink

Thanks for the feedback Cape-City. Development has been slow on this plugin due to the lack of a publically available .net iCal parser.

Will take your comments on board and see if I can get an update out in the near future.
