Ah, after reading the thread entitled "97.7 + SQLite recordings not showing up & still "pending"" I believe this is the same problem that I am getting as I have just checked and all of the recordings are on my hard drive, but are listed as 'Failed' in GBPVR GUI.

Speaking of which, rather then getting kicked out, how about automatically switching over to the recording stream instead? ie. you'd just get a small pause, but would continue watching whilst it's recording.

Actually no, I've now had several recordings that failed to start whilst I was in LiveTV even with the patch. There's a still a problem somewhere. Nothing in the logs except for lots of 'RenewLease's throughout LiveTV period (same as before IIRC).

And Sub, did you see this post of mine? :

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Attached. Scheduled show was today, 19.06, 21:00-22:00 "Big Brother". Showed as 'failed' after I exited LiveTV (after 22:00). (and of course I'm not using the patch but 0.97.9 now).

What about the other issue?

Sorry, its missing one critical file in that set, do you still have the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log that goes with it?

I've noted it down to test this - a bit snowed under at the moment. I think another user also mentioned it in his post.

Sorry for the delay. I've attached all logs I have.

I also just witnessed a likely related problem. There was a program scheduled to start at 21:30 today (Big Brother again). I cancelled it before it started as I was going to watch it live. Whilst in LiveTV, I got kicked out as though it was trying to record it anyway, but it wasn't shown as pending in Recordings. Trying to re-enter LiveTV failed everytime with 'No Tuner available'. Again it never actually recorded anything. I had to restart the recording service to fix it. This should be in the logs too.
