My handle is a variation of my last name. It was assigned to me my freshman year of college (man that was a long time ago!) as my user name in some CPS courses and I have used it ever since.

As for the avatar.... what can I say? I love GBPVR. Smile

turajb Wrote:Well my handle is simply a mix of letters from my real name. And I've used this handle for years in various news groups, chat rooms, RPGs, etc...

As to my avatar, its simply a pic of one of my many wood burning projects. I like the character Stitch from the movie 'Lilo & Stitch', so it was selected for this avatar. I tend to change up my avatar every now and then, so this one will be swapped out in the near future with a new one...

As to all the talk about Guinness, I'd like to point out that I recently started brewing my own beer. I figured if I'm going to drink it, I might at well learn to make it. Its soo sweet to drink your own brew -- much better then any store bought beer. Its a very fulfilling hobby. My family and friends also enjoy drinking my home brew on holidays & special occassions as well. Well worth the effort...
I did the homebrew things years back and kept with it a long while. When I started in the early 80's, it was definitely crude compared to now. I just don't have the time and lost the zing. I do miss the great smell of hops even if the wife didn't.

About 15 years ago I accompinied my new boss to a meeting with a difficult customer. Before walking in he told me to let him do all the talking unless someone had question for me. No one had any questions for me so I ended up standing around for 2 hours more or less mute.

One of the women at the meeting later described me to a friend of mine (whom she didn't realize knew me) as "The Big Dumb Guy".

This became the running joke around my office for a few months. It was also around the time I was first getting online. So....I have been BdgBill since AOL 3.0

The photo is of my GBPVR rig and needs to be replaced with something more interesting.

Oh come on now, You actually have Hockey out there? Wink

My last name starts with 'Z'. I'm from Canada, and we say zed here...

'Zed' is normally always taken on forums etc, and since Canadians typically say 'eh' a lot, my name became zehd... And this was after 9 years in Japan, hanging out with lots of Americans, and pretty much removing 'eh' from my vocabulary...
eh.

When I was starting a business and wanted some art on the cards, I thought about using clipart or random stuff from the net, but decided instead to dust off the pens and draw my own characters... The mouse has just the right amount of evil intent, that it makes a home very nicely here at GB-PVR... Cool

...eh

and my avatar, I got a mate to draw it since I needed a avatar...

Ahoy

The Folkboat is one of the most popular cruiser racer sailboats ever designed. Originating from Scandinavia in the early 1940's as weekend camping cruiser.

I have owned two Folkboats living in Annapolis, MD. Enjoyed racing and cruising the Cheapeake Bay. Both imported from Sweden............lovely vessel!!!!!!!
