Its part of the .net 1.1 runtime. You should find it in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322

Thanks Sub,
You guys must have things set up differently , ? part of the SDK ?

I guess I have to set my path to point at the microsoft.net directory , or copy installutil into the program directory ?

Ok, getting the ripper to work now,

well sort of.

dvddecrypt works, see the files in the temp directory
see delayac3 work, do box pops up, process runs,
see besweet work , dos box pop up , process runs,

The all the files are deleted, and gb pvr is back to put a new dvd in the drive menu ?

Any comments , help please !

One note, I only want to use the dvd2mpeg plug in.
Do I need to install your auther plug in as well ?

You don't need to use both plug-ins. The DVD2MPEG plug-in creates a DVD2MPEG.log file in the GPPVR directory. If you can post that it might explain what went wrong.

two forward, one back

Jeff / sub,

no output in the required directory, but at least the temp directory has the files left behind now,

the end of the log file is now

sily questin, could it be the long file names problem ?

The temp directory has left in it
audio.ac3
audio.mp2
besweet.log
video.m2v
vts_01 - stream information.txt
vts_01_0.ifo

Andrew,

We're talking about this in the developer forum too... There are a few people with the same problem and Jeff is working on a solution.

Thanks,

Dubya

first off, a big thank you, and donation soon to follow, for all of the hard work put into GBPVR and plugins.

now after i've buttered you up..... [Image: smile.gif]

i just wanted to reiterate andrew m's problem with the DVD2MPEG plugin.

I am having the identical issue, literally word for word as he posted.

I can post a log file if needed.

I beleive I have the newest plugin downloaded 11/28/04.

Hi guys.

You know how on a DVD there are multiple audio tracks such as english + spanish + commentary etc. They are however all AC3. Is it possible to have several audio tracks however one would be the original ac3, and a second alongside it would be the mpeg II Audio, all encapsulated in a single vob or mpeg file. That way you can preserve the ac3 for your server computer, but the MVP can play back the mpeg2 audio track. Best of both worlds? Is this possible?
