This is my primary theme, I would hate to lose it!

I'll download it and take a look at what is in there. You should be able to update your CS3 install and preserve existing theme.

I've had a quick look and you might need the attached mainmenu skin.xml for panels. Just copy it into the relevant skinplugin folder and reload the theme or replace the xml in the CS3 folder.
