WDM Recorder using Software Compression

well i've been looking for ages for any other free mpeg2 software encoder that will generate an output that is compatible with gb-pvr, with no luck. If you find anything, please let me know and I will make sure it works with the software recorder plugin.

with a bit of experimentation i'm sure you could uninstall the evaluation software and re-installing and you should get your 30 day evaluation back.

Maybe its me I get GBPVR to see My NVIDIA Personal Cinema but I get errors. What is the proper way to copy the files. I am just coping the "DShowNET" "RecorderTest" "SoftwareRecorder"

When I click LiveTV it get "Error: Could not getPreviewGraph"

Any ideas did I load the files correctly I also put the DLL in the GB-PVR directory and in the Plugin directory.

Sorry Just to finish my sentenance above I copied the folders into the GB-PVR directory. Is is possible to create a zip that has all the files in the right folders so I can just copy from that zip to the GB-PVR directory. I started with V4 then copy V5 & V6.

You should not need a previous version installed, i generally try and package everything needed with the latest version. If you grab version 6, there is a folder called gbpvr which you can just copy & paste everything in it to the main gbpvr folder.

Can you supply some of the output from the log of the gbpvr executable and the recording service around the time of the crash.

Thanks for your help in advance. When I go to setup the Capture and the EPG I get an error if I click continue I can select the Nvidia card but there is no selection for Audio.

have you re-configured the capture device and selected the audio source? (if need be select your video source).

otherwise it my be that it can't find a tuner. I'd have to add extra debugging information and get you to trun the new version to check this out though.
