Well, bummer.

watch it now works from within netflix for the movie below on my gbpvr box

Downloading "The Prince and the Pauper" (2007 - I have kids) works from the v3 netflix plugin

Trying to "watch it now" from within the plugin hangs or reboots the system

running xp, most current gbpvr using pvrx2 and standard blue skin, using "VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive" mode for playback.

Anything I should/could look for to help debug that?

I don't believe it will work with VMR9 Exclusive. The plugin has to launch Windows Media Player (a customized version) to play the file. VMR9 Exclusive takes exclusive control of the graphics output so WMP cannot use it.

Yeah that was my fear. I am using "Exclusive" to get clean HD/Digital playback.

I'll give the non-exclusive version another spin - thanks

So, is it safe to use the new plugin? Are there still skin issues? Man, I really hate the big red x. It's gotta be the most annoying error ever next to the BSoD. :p

The beta3 should not give any rendering issues. You do need to have CommonGBPVRUtilities though and make sure you run the config to create the cache folders.

I think the installer might not be creating the folder for the list to download into.
once I created that, it seemed to work.

I looked at the config.xml and all the settings are in there.
including the rss number.

do I include the "P" in the rss number??

You may want to wait till I add a few more features. Hate to have to make you keep redoing it. Wink Did you want a quick shot of me yelling "Leave Netflix alone!!"? Big Grin

There is no installer yet. When you run the plugin config, it should create them when you hit "OK". I'll double check the code.

Yes. You should be including everything after the "=". I guess I could add a button to the config that will actually grab the ID for you.

I just found a problem with the "Queue" section of the plugin. I do not recommend viewing the Queue until I get it resolved. I will post a build later tonight with the fix.
