I have been playing around with this a couple of days now and I think it's a great plugin!

After a while one panel is bound to be a favourite, I would like a setting for a default panel. I rearrange the panels placing my favorite as "0", but you have to know a bit XML to do this.

It has moved on quite a bit from the version you are using & we are working flat out trying to get a new beta version out. ACTCMS has worked his magic on it & it now remembers your favorite views in both PlayingNow & NotPlaying & for the new Picture SlideShows views as well

I also had to remove the "C" out of "@DateTimeC" in all places to get it to show the time the way I want it. A setting or a comment how to get different DateTime views would be useful.

I have this on my to do list to add to the top of the skin file (along with all the other options that seem to grow/change day to day :eek for people who want to modify or make their own skin.

I read the discussion on making a slide show. I am not certain I understood that discussion though. But a slide show possibility would be great! Especially if I could select a picture folder and the pictures is shown fullscreen, with the album art and info in the panel on top....
But maybe the pictures will be shown in the panel? As the gbpvr background is shown in some of the panels today. I guess it is possible to create a full screen panel (I have to try that when I get home...).

Without letting to much out of the bag before release, yes you can select the picture folder(s) you want to display (& that's all I'm saying about that part of it at the moment ) The way I have the skin at the moment the picture is displayed instead of album art for some views & as near fullscreen for other views. But the combination are nearly endless & I have just tried to make views that should satisfy most people & most importantly our WIVES :p

I have realized that I miss many album covers... I have found a program that search and adds covers to the id3-tag. Is it possible to show these pictures instead or as well as the ones in the folder?

ACTCMS will have to answer this one & he is often online about this time.

MLPanel looks for album art in your ID3 tag as well as in the MP3s containing folder. It then cycles through whatever art it finds.

Yea, I can see that now. Even if this version is cool, I really looking forward to the next one.
Now, I have even more incentive to get my id3-tags working properly...

Hello,

I can't download from the wiki. When I click on the file it ask me a username and password. I tried the default mentioned on the homepag but that also doesn't work.

The program sounds nice so I want to give it a go. I do not use Music Library but the Music plugin from MixMan.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi there,

Sorry about that but if you look at the top of the wiki page you will see "This page is still under construction" in rather large bold text & this is why the file links don't work (yet) as we are currently still alpha testing the new version.

If you want to give the old version a go the file is in the link in the first message in this thread

but a lot of the features listed on the wiki are new & therefore not in the old version.

I probably should have said I believe the new version is 99.9% ready for release, apart from a problem (that has been there from right at the start) with some users maybe having a conflict with versions of Interfaces.dll if they also use ML2. But I am having trouble convincing ACTCMS it is ready to go

Tnx for the update. I did saw the under cunstruction text. Didn't make the connection that downloading was not possible. l thought more in the line of editing text..

I'll wait no problem. Like I said I do not use Music Library (anymore). Had some trouble with the stability so I gave up a half year ago. I use the standard Music Library and since a week Music plugin from MixMan wich is the same but has a playlist option...

A nice screensaver would complete it...

I assume you refer to some version of MusicLibrary2/3? The ML2 version 7.2 is stable as a rock for me. But the last beta (actually it is alpha) release of ML3 is still unusable due to lacking functionality and some instabilities unfortunately.

I downloaded it. Installed it.... configured it... No screensaver on the MVP.

I checked. I set the GBPVR screensaver on and off in the config. No screensaver.

Checked the config file for MLPanel... No luck. Not all the options are documented or I do not understand. Still no screensaver..

Checked the config.xml of GBPVR. replaced all screensaver things with MLPanel. No screensaver.

Checked the interfaces.log. said something about missing folder c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\mlpanel\mlpanel.xml. Copied it. No screensaver.

What skin are you using? Also can you recreate the problem and post your Interfaces.dll.log and pvrx2.exe.log please.
