It looks like the thread that loads the entries from the DB on startup is not behaving. When I get back home (next week), I'll take a look at what is going on here. Look for an update sometime late next week.

Yeah I got a bunch of these and PVRX2 wouldn't start after the first time in, then exiting. btw this is on the PC.

I attach logs if it helps.

[EDIT]Same issue with 1.0.17.0. I watched PVRX2 in Process Explorer. One instance is in there (presumably the MVP/PCH server) then when you open PVXR2 to get into the menu, nothing happens ??? I attach some more logs with 1.0.17.0, but in these I don't seem to have those lines.

Here is a new version of the MovieWiz.DLL. I think it should clear up some of the threading problems you guys have been seeing.

Hi JW,

Glad you're back. Here's some initial feedback on MW 1.0.17.4:
  • PVRX2 appears to close completely now on exit. Big Grin
  • MW plugin does not remember which entry it was on. Always now back at the start. Sad
  • I have What's New selected as default Category. What's New lists all my movie entries, at least initially.
  • Seems to do a database reload each time you go into MW plugin.
For the time being, my main system will stay on V1.0.17.3 as it seems more stable.

Cheers,
Dan

Here is MovieWiz.DLL v 1.0.17.5

Fixed the following:
  • MW plugin will remember which entry it was on. If you leave the plugin and come back, you should be positioned where you left off.
  • What's New list populates correctly on initial load.
  • List only reloads from DB
    • on the initial load
    • when the category changes
    • when you supply the password
    • when you delete an entry
    • when you hide an entry
