No you haven't McBainUK. :p You can if you like but current pre-release testing is for DVB-S only. Big Grin

Just to remove it from the equation - I don't normally have Live TV setup but I gave it a try earlier - I get the same unexpected dropout but this still happens even after uninstalling/deleting all traces of any of the dvb radio versions (public and pre-release).

Cheers,

McBainUK Wrote:Only happens with the latest scan & multi-record patches from the support thread installed. Tried multiple decoder and BDA mux combinations with the same result - crash to desktop and the tray reporting Freeview card's status is "Live TV"

No logs I'm afraid as I've done a clean install to try and fix the problem (works fine on a basic v1.3.11 although misses out some channels on the scan). I did notice a strange message in one of the logs: "Received event code: 35861".

If you want to investigate I could probably get some logs together

I too an getting this happening still - ill have to revert to the original 1.3.11 files (gbpvrtsmon.ax , gbpvrtsreader.ax and psiparser.ax).

unfortunately reverting to the original files means that ill have to disable the multirecord feature of TS mux (or even avoid ts mux totally).

i did try several variantions of the 3 files above and thought for a while that it had been solved - but not yet.

i dont have very much spare tiime due to having small family - so i doubt ill have time to assist too much in debugging - but if i do get time later tonight - ill try to replicate - assuming the logs get updated.

If you have this problem with pvrx2 exiting from live tv, give this patch a go and let me know how you get on.

Having said that, it carries on scanning anyway, and saves a scan cahe file.

It no longer stops and throws me out to the desktop with this patch. Everything is great with QAM. DVB freezes after a few minutes but does not drop back to desktop. I can restart it by pressing play. I have seen this before. I think it does not like the quality of the DVBS and it stalls out.
