With DVB-S in NZ it'll be the MainConcept audio and video decoders.

ok what happens if you try to play the video in WINDOWS media player

did you uninstall ffdshow before installing klite pack

on the codecs tab of ffshow
go down to mpeg2 and set the decoder to
libmpeg2

All looks good and seems to be working I guess I can only record or watch and I understand that as theres only one source.

My only problem now is some channels saying the signal no strong enough or no displaying,. or could this be because here in NZ we have so many different format being broadcast or am I confusing different aspects for formats?

no it will be that you need to line up your dish properly
pc tuner cards a very sensitive to not perfect signal
where in NZ are you the sat signal is weaker out to the coast in some places

if you got to misc tab tick multi record
you will be able to record all the stations on one freq ie all tvnz or all canwest(tv3 c4)

to watch while recording you have to click on tv guide select program(in red)
select watch

if you get a second tuner you be able to record all channels at once (12 or 13)

I'm in the Waikato,.. in town in fact but I do know I'm in a hollow and have had some issues with sky some years back,. I brought a 1 meter dish to fix that but I guess I will have weather problems at times

So given I check put the misc tab I've got as good as it gonna get here a.

Thanks very much to everybody that put time into sorting me out

The one thing I have noticed in the last couple of days which strange, when the channels become unavailable in GB-PVR they are still about in Media Center I guess theres a difference in how each program does the job

Windows 7

if I view channel one and it's working and go to channel 3 and it's not
I can see 3 in Media Center
