What LCD Plugin or Utility to use these days?

ok, here tis....
i included imon plugin for pvrx2, smartie plugins, smartie config.ini and status2.exe..
i would backup my stuff before trying this one..
replace smartie's config.ini[backup first!], add smartie plugins to smartie plugin dir, add imon plugin to pvrx plugin dir, [include subdir], and place status2 in pvrx2 dir and make shortcut for it in startup...and crank it up...that should be it... oh adjust smartie display settings for your display..[type/lines etc]
let me know if getting any errors..

oh yea, take the screen4 enable off..i didn't include the drive temp stuff..and adjust the first part drive space free drive letters to be applicable for you..[beginning of first line,screen2]

YOU ARE THE MAN!!! I couldn't quit laughing with excitement on what you did here... Truly amazing! How can I ever thank you?!?!?

I just had to adjust for my 192.168.... for the EWA RSS server and the COM Port... real easy to implement.

I did get only one error: It was when I was trying the Music Library in PVRX2... It occured when I stopped playback and was exiting the Music Library. The LCD said on the 2nd line "cannot load plugin on line 2" of the LCD, and exiting to desktop the dialog box said "Load Plugin Failed, with #126 - specified module could not be found."

Other than that, your setup is doing everything I dreamed of the LCD doing.

Question: On the second line, I see all the tuners scroll by if they are being used or not. Is that the way it should look (2 analog and 2 QAM)? I have a 2250 and a 1600, do I need to add more to this for the 3 analog and 3 QAM that I have available? I generally do not have more than 2 recordings at the same time while watching another, should I be good with it the way it is?

hmm, it should only show R-show-R if a recording is happening, and nothing when one isn't...but i only programmed it for 4 tuners..i'll see what i can do..

i don't use ewa rss data...[was just experimenting with rss,it works pretty nice] so that shouldn't gave mattered..

i think just unchecking enable on screen 1 should fix it up when coming out of audio..
or fix action for when audio is not playing to goto screen 2 instead of 1...[easier to edit in config.ini at end, actions section,change GotoScreen(1) to GotoScreen(2)

I didnt think you would have those show if not busy.

Thats right... I didnt have that screen enabled.

I only had #2 screen enabled. Its all I want.

I think I need the winamp plugin when playing music in the library, but there are a couple on the website. Which one do you use? I think that will get rid of the error.

try this one...i added more tuners...all 8 i think...
but not having that many it's hard to test..
i grab the info from tray app so it has to be running...[it autostarts it if not..lol]

note: you can double click tray item to see info dialog as well..

still, change the action screen destination for when audio is not playing and that will properly eliminate error, as changing to a non-enabled screen is still possible...
make action2 look like this in config.ini

oh, i was using original winamp plugin from main plugin page...you have to start it up with: start "" /min "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" linein://
and set something in mixer...plugin should have help...a lot of trouble but it is the biggest bling..
i used a 20 char wide spectrum as 2nd line with id3 tag for top line on screen 9...check 'skip this screen if winamp is inactive' andit'll go back to regular info..

now just need to get this level of integration with npvr...

Nothing changed with these changes and replacement. I assumed I should rename the attached file status2.exe, not status2-3.exe as you attached it? Was that right?

shouldn't matter, as long as only 1 is running...
it's working for me here after creating 2 more fake tuners...[so 6 total]
maybe your capture source names have spaces in them?
what does tray app look like?

Ok I renamed to match what you sent the first time and all is well.

Installing the Winamp Spectrum Analyzer fixed the error I was getting.

The unused tuners are still showing up though. Interestingly, it is still 2 analog and 2 QAM showing... I expected it would be 8 tuners. Maybe this helps you?
