Missing one channel in NPVR using HDHomeRun Dual

I don't know if it helps with this problem but I just got a new antenna and I wanted to test it fully and I went old school for the first time in years (I'm surprised it worked props to sub!), and the duplicate for 9.1 does actually come in as 9.2 and rechecking my NPVR logs they do have a different major/minor pair in the NextPVR scan.

I am saying it looks like both 34 and 40 return "CH1 HD" but both channels don't show up in the list so channel 40 can't get added.

Having gone back and re-read the thread, it's still not entirely clear to me what is happening.

I know they're big files, but any chance you could supply a 30 second or so full transport stream from each of these frequencies?

Thanks, that got it channel 9 is stronger on the UHF frequency. The thread is a bit confusing because initially there was a mixup at the source and 34 and 40 where both broadcasting as CH1 HD.

Hi Sub,

Don't know if you saw this but when we go on channel 9.3 (CBOFT-DT), we now receive a message from Radio-Canada to rescan. It supposed to be now on frequency 9.1. I re-scanned with NextPvr without any success.

I manually edited the npvr.db3 with SQLite Database Browser and set the the value to 9.1 but I am still receiving the same message from Radio-Canada. Do you experience the same issue?

Your best bet is to do a scan, then post your npvr.log.

9.1 is now on channel 33 with the barker on channel 9 telling you to rescan.. The duplicate problem is fixed in the next version

mvallevand, you're totally right. I've re-scanned with my HDHomerun and it founds it at frequency 33.3.

For some reason, NextPVR never finds it while scanning (I have the latest version).

I changed it manually by editing npvr.db3, went back to NextPvr and I could see the frequency set to 33.3 for this channel but still I couldn't tune in (still seeing Radio-Canada message like f it was still tuning to 9.1).

So I restarted my computer and now the channel works (using freq 33.3)!
