have only tested 5900 but each time i start i have to enter the ip number (not wife friendly)

Yes, it is supposed to remember all settings.
If the server isn't found it will show the settings page but all values should be there and a simple [OK] should connect to the previous server.

I use “local storage”, a html5 feature, for keeping settings both in and between sessions.
If “local storage” was not implemented in your device you wouldn't be able to view recordings or play music at all so I don't think that is the problem.

Do you have your player disconnected from the mains for long periods?
Maybe a faulty backup battery is to blame? Or it may be a firmware issue with 5900 (BD-E5900 is it?)

It remembers plex settings and Revens app
And no it's not unplugged just turned off with remote

If quick startup is turns off
The app remembers the settings if I just go back to main menu etc
But if I cycle power with remote it loses the settings something is not saving to the right memory ( I know nothing on the workings of Samsung)

Maybe plex and reven's store their settings in a file or something. I wanted to use an universal storage place available in any hml5 device since the app is potentially targeting any html5 enabled device with a descent player capable of handling the .ts-files NextPVR produces.

Anyway, did you try the other option I PM'd you about?

The app loader can be run from anywhere with internet connection.
Can you get the Next PVR UI in a desktop browser like Chrome using http://192.168.1.100:8866/touch3/client3.html ?

Did you remember to get the zip and extract it and copy it into C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web.
The path should be....C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\touch3\client3.html assuming that's where NextPVR web is on your computer.

I'm confused
I thought once it showed up in the loader I could just add the app and open it.
Do I need to download again ?
