a system restore wouldn't have any effect on NPVR's files, so everything is still updated. the fact that it works now presumably means that one of the times you did nextpvr.exe -updatedb it did do the updates. as long as it's working now....

Ok so did my IDs change again? Half of my channels are missing again.

I don't know if this will help you... But I have had problems with mc2xml randomly not working after a while. To fix it I go into my mc2xml folder and delete the mc2xml.dat file and the TVGUIDE.xml. Then go to your NPVR/scripts/ folder and double-click the UpdateEPG.bat shortcut from there. Works for me every time... Basically it's just a reset of mc2xml. You'll have to re-input your info but it just takes a minute then works for a while.

Thanks so much for the response mjccox... All seems to be ok again, I will keep that in mind if I start having issues again.
