Any chance I could remote into the machine with TeamViewer or similar to take a look at what is causing this? No worries if you'd rather we investigate this other ways.

My system consist of 8 gig of memory, Asus Hero motherboard, I-7 4770, 2 Hauppauge 2250's, Intel wireless AC 7260, and a SSD. The channel changes were taking a long time, plus the tuner was then marked unavailable. To make it work, I turned Debug on (see earlier post) and it worked better. It still failed. Next I started windows defender, full disk scan, and the channels changed without any issues. So went back to the Asus bios, did and XMP profile and the memory timings changed, and since no issues at all. Strange never had an issue with media center, Jrivers, or win tv 8, but for some strange reason this was the culprit. Anyway just upgraded to windows 10 and NextPVR is working well. NextPVR is still the best PVR around, went through all of them. Really tough problem to diagnose, and thinks for your help.
