I should point out, the xmltv mappings will only happen automatically if your IPTV providers .m3u file contains the "tvg-id" attribute that matches the channel IDs in your xmltv file. This is most often not be true, so requires you to manually do the XMLTV mapping yourself. If you want to supply me your npvr.db3 file, I can check this.

Thank you Sir. You are a star!

Btw does your program cater for Groups as well?

Let me test the patch below. Sorry .. I was away for a while.

Yes, I have an update that supports groups in IPTV as well. It needs a few files though, so I wont do this update as a patch. I'll get a new release out in the next few days.

Many thanks.

I really hope you aren't In New Zealand, because it's early in the morning there.

Btw. tested the patch and it pulled in the EPG just fine.

Question.. How to Bulk update the channel list to using the URL, instead of using the downloaded Guide I used before on my HDD? Or do I have to do each channel on its own?

Hope my question makes sense.

Yep...I'm up far too early.

I'm not sure you can use a URL on the bulk map. I'll check it.

Just to revive this IPTV thing a bit, am still using matthuismans NZAU guide and the apsattv.m3u list.

With channels like TVNZ1 and 2 it plays for a few minutes and then kills NPVR (Windows says this app has stopped working, looking for a solution, etc). This has been going on for a while.

With the other channels that I've checked NPVR comes up with 'unable to find available capture device. The remote server returned an error: (404) not found'.

Am using Microsoft DTV decoder / Windows 10 / latest NPVR build.

Wondering if you have any ideas ?

Would logs help ?

Is it crashing every time you watch TVNZ1/2? If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp when you get that crash?

If you get an '404 not found', it's basically telling you the URL is not correct. ie, broadcaster has probably changed the URL. NextPVR doesn't currently have a mechanism for automatically updating the channel list when the source channel list m3u is updated to fix broken/incorrect URLs. If you delete the channels and reimport from the m3u, it should fix that (assuming the m3u has been updated to correct this broken URLs). I'm looking at adding a mechanism for auto updating channels from internet m3u.

As above. The 404s are just due to the channel URLs not being correct. You'll need to delete those channels and reimport them.
