its works fine on vlc with out this issue.

so there appers to be no fix ?
the only thing i could think of is trying a diffrent iptv paid subscription service with npvr. any suggestions ?

Going by past experience, this usually means "I've used it lightly in VLC, and the channels generally seemed to be working". It's a different matter when you're relying on, and needing the streams to stay up when you're recordings full shows etc.

You could also try switching from the .ts streams you're currently using, to their .m3u8 streams. You may find this is better at recovering to short disruptions to service. It also gives us the ability to turn on m3u8 logging, which gives us a much more detailed view of any issues with the stream.

Sorry, I don't give IPTV service recommendations.

Looking online, epicstreams uses an m3u URL like this:
http://epicstream.tv:7000/get.php?userna...&output=ts

You probably just need to change that ending to "&output=hls" or "&output=m3u8" (probably the former)

I believe, I have solved this issue. After hours of trying to fix the freezing iptv live tv. i can now watch live iptv with out any issues for hours on end.

i think my cure was

backing up my current npvr.db3 file channel list
Then i copyied an old npv.db3 i backed up a couple weeks back
then i coypied this file to the location of C:\Users\Public\NPVR
update the epg manualy via settings /channels/update epg.

i done exactlly the same methord with my most recent npvr.db3 and it seems to work with out any issues at the moment. im going to try a few recordings tonight. ill can let you know how i get on.

my epg backs up at 2 oclock every morning, when i was haveing this issue with the iptv live tv. why was the mannul methord any different ? could this also be that my iptv provider update the channel list but npvr doesnt pick up on it ? if so is there a way i can use a bat file to do the same thing

Honestly, it doesn't sound likely that'd do anything.

Possibly. NextPVR only read your provider channel list at the time you imported it. You can force it to update the channel list and URLs from the provider again by running "NextPVR.exe -m3u"

Where would you run this command? "NextPVR.exe -m3u" I tried it in a PowerShell in the ProgramFiles (x86)\NPVR Directory, and it said command is not recognized. Thanks in advance.

That should work ... nextpvr.exe should be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR"

This is a direct copy from Power Shell....Any Ideas?

Code:
PS C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR> NextPVR.exe -m3u
NextPVR.exe : The term 'NextPVR.exe' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At line:1 char:1
+ NextPVR.exe -m3u
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo          : ObjectNotFound: (NextPVR.exe:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException

Suggestion [3,General]: The command NextPVR.exe was not found, but does exist in the current location. Windows PowerShel
l does not load commands from the current location by default. If you trust this command, instead type ".\NextPVR.exe".
See "get-help about_Command_Precedence" for more details.
PS C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR>

I'm using Windows Server 2012 R2 and I did try .\NextPVR.exe -m3u same results....Ahhh, I bet I need to run it as Admin.....

Yep, .\NextPVR.exe -m3u works as Admin Power Shell....
