So, just failing when you're trying to import from a local file? If you can put the file somewhere like dropbox or onedrive, and PM me the download location, I'll try loading it up.

Import works fine, but the channels are just black when I try to view them.

I just imported your file, and confirmed I can watch the channels. I saved your file as d:\tv.m3u, and used the 'Import' button, and entered that file name.

I did note your file had the extension ".m3u8", which is a different type of thing, so I'd saved it as ".m3u" before importing it.

If you'd done that intentionally, to try to make the streams m3u8 streams, that's not what you're supposed to do. The playlist file, containing the channel streams would still be a .m3u file (or url), but the actual stream urls contained in the file would be slightly different, to whatever form your IPTV provider uses for m3u8 streams.

Shit. I did notice the extension but it was the default file name from the url so I left it as is. That was the issue. Works.

Now I have edited the m3u to include the m3u8 option on one of the streams. I'll let you know when/if it freezes again.

Sorry it took so long but when I rdp to my server console to setup the IPTV device the session sort of hangs on DRI and I have to keep reconnecting.

Ok Sub, roughly 18:38 the freeze issue happened on an HLS feed.

You're still using the ts stream in those logs, not an HLS/M3U8 stream.

I PMd the stream link to you that I'm using to grab an HLS stream. If that doesn't work I'm running out of options to get an HLS stream to test with.

If I could figure out the syntax to switch an http stream to HLS I’d give it another go sub. I’ll keep trying.

It appears my provider is not able to help but they seem to believe HLS is possible.
