hey Jeff. it seems that the "Ctrl+P" button used to start a video right away without intermediate menu of "play archive delete cancel". now it seems to behave like the "enter" and bring up this menu.

also, i have noticed that when i first start GBPVR the list that is built includes all of the directories that have existed in TV Recordings at one time or another. if i start cursoring down they disappear as the highlight comes upon them. or i can hit F11 and they clear up. does this sound right?

great plugin though. this is pretty much the only window i use in GBPVR. i waited a long time to do the latest 98xx upgrade so that skins and video archive were ready. i am too far along in 98 now, but i still find that the older version in 96 was speedier and less quirky for my uses...

Hmm. Empty lists should not show at all. I have lots of empty ones and they don;t show for me. Would you mind zipping restarting the gbpvr, navigating up and down the lists, and the posting log files in your Jeff directory?

You are right about the control P thing. I will fix that.

Jeff:

I know this is going to sound odd, and maybe there was a hiccup in the installation, though i didn't notice it but who knows.

I've completely redone my system, from the OS up. I installed GBpvr all was well for a day so i started installing plug ins. The only one I've installed so far is VA. The problem is it can't seem to find the recording directory as specified in the GBpvr config setup.

I've done 3 recordings today to test and they were successful, i can see and play them in the Video Library and in Recordings but looking in Video Archive they are not shown at all. The weird part is recordings that i left in there that were recorded prior to the wipe and re-install. The only ones not showing are the ones recorded since the VA install.

Have you ever run into something like this. I'm including the Jeff logs in case you need them. Right now I'm inclined to just wipe it again and re-do before i get too far, unless you have another thought

We'll, i thought i was uploading the logs, forum is not letting me. Let me know if you want them and i'll email.

I found the problem, well fixed it anyway. I'm assuming something happened during the install or the initial fill of the database. I deleted the video archive database and dropped in an empty. It's seems just fine now.

My development PC crashed so I haven;t been able to work on anything for the last few days. I hope to be back up and running some time late next week. That said, I think I know what caused the problem you saw and I had just finished a fix which I haven't fully tested that should solve the problem.
