Thanks,

No, its should be the same as the last release.

Well, recordings play ok, I'll do some tweaking.

Only thing I've noticed is that I have the same issue as in 12b when using Skip, FF, or RW during a time-shifted show. I press skip, and it skips some random amount. I almost always use the MVP, so don't know if this is in the fat client, too, or not, but I've had it since the release before .12.

Skip/ff/rw works just fine on recorded programs, but has problems with either live tv or scheduled recordings which are currenlty recording.

Anyone else have simliar issues? there isn't anything obvious in the logs, and if I just let it play, it plays out fine. I have skip set to 30 seconds.

Thanks for any help

Your wild jumps could be encoding. I had this problem become obvious when watching recordings from a different encoder. Try switching to a different encoder and see what happens.

Thanks for another upgrade! This release seems very responsive on my MVP, especially when first booting up, in menus, and when entering and leaving Live TV.

Plus, I get to see what the weather's like in Wellington, NZ!

(only joking!)

The only issue that I have found is in the mini-guide... the OSD opens up and display the channel logo, but no programme information. It works, because up / down change the logo, but no text displays.

Hey, an issue so small I'm almost embarrassed to raise it.

Thanks again to all the hard work on both this latest release and My Videos 4.0

I'm not surprised. This isnt something I looked into in this release.

This may belong in a differnt thread, but I have found that I can not skin the OSD correctly. In particular, I am trying to skin the timeline portion of the VideoPlayback image. I have made the time line longer (and the text bigger) so that I can see it mroe easily. What I have found is that the arrow that moves across the timeline to indicate position seems to react to the longer timeline size but the image itself does not. It remains short.

Here is the portion of the image if you want to try to duplicate it.

Code:
<!-- timeline -->
<DrawRoundedRect loc="25,30" size="670,37" radius="10" borderWidth="6" borderColor="Gray" fillColor="Black"/>
<DrawText text="@positionText" loc="40,33" size="130,30" textStyle="BigOSDText" align="Left" visible="true"/>
<DrawText text="@durationText" loc="580,33" size="130,30" textStyle="BigOSDText" align="Left" visible="true"/>
<Element name="timelineGraphic" loc="150,40" size="420,120" />

Hey Sub,

I still can't control the bitrate settings on my ATI TV Wonder Elite card.I edited the medium setting to these settings:NTSC 720x480, CBR (VBR doesn't work either) 10500kbps, audio 224kbps. Using manual recording with these settings I get a file encoded at 3104kbps. I tryed a couple of different encoding settings and always get a file encoded at the same bitrate.

Any suggestions as to how I can correct this?

Thanks

Athlon, reproduce the problem, then email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.
