Agreed! I think it's pretty kick ass if I do say so myself.

Probably wouldn't work on an MVP, but Flash support for a plugin and skins would be pretty cool. Imagine the possibilities.

i know. but those skins have to be done, thats all...

by the way, when will the new mypictures be released?

nice idea, but i remember, sub didn't want this just because it won't work on the mvp and xcard. and a full-screen-flash-movie consumes a lot of power...

well i decided to do something about this, ive been working on my pics again and gave it a few animation transistions (similar to mediaportal, well errr exactly like media portal, i ripped them off Smile oh and some from xbmc that they were missing). things like when you enter my pics the menu slides in and the filelist slides in, when you zoom in it does it smoothly (and theres a navigator in the top right hand corner now) etc.

i cant release it yet because i accidently (well errr stupidly) added code that requires the pre release so it wont work with the current version of gbpvr.

prerelease is up to sub.

once he does another release ill release the beta.

errr since everything is draw with the cpu you're going to need a good machine (i have to figure out how to draw with the gpu.......).

ive got a celeron 2.6GHz machine and the animations run fine

I was searching for something unrelated and ran across this post. I had never heard of mediaportal, always used gbpvr. I went to the site and looked at some screenshots...wow...

gbpvr works fantastic and it sounds as though it's head and shoulders above mediaportal in utility...but wow...those are some purty screens...the menu transitions sound cool as well...anything being done in this area for gbpvr?
