no, I've not decided to limit the support to this thread, I just answered your question - sorry for the misunderstanding. Personally, I don't care where I answer support questions, so there's nothing against the sub-forum from my point of view. But I can't remember that someone else requested a dedicated support forum before. I'm going to ask sub for the forum. -alibert
I didn't mean in any way to infer that you were limiting support to TV Listings users. I just knew that having a subforum would make it a lot easier for me to research any issues with TV Listings and thought it would make it easier for others too.

Let me be the first to thank you for the use of a subforum.

Just figured out the problem with the genre colors not showing. If you set "ShowRecordingStatusColor" to true in skin.xml the genre colors will not show.

yes, your're right - I've fixed this for the next release of the plugin, too.

I had a channel change it's name and so it quit showing up in my guide. I went into the config to correct it and while I was in there an error message popped up about a fatal error and it needed to close. Now I can't get my TV recordings to open up.

On the plus side the channel that changed names is working again.

I tried stopping services and restarting. Also restarting the machine. I also tried copying the .dll over again from the Zip file where I installed it. None of which helped. I could not figure out how to uninstall the plugin to start over.

Anyways here is the log file.

thanks for the report and attaching the logfile. It seems that there is an unreferenced channel in your recording schedule that confuses the tv recordings plugin. I've added a check now that should fix the problem. Could you please test if the attached version of the .dll fixes your problem (just replace your existing tv listings.dll file with the attached one)?

Thanks for the help.

The updated dll did not fix it. granted I have not had a chance to look into removing any unrefenced channels.

Is that done on the channels tab of the config?

I will post the new log when I get a chance.

Okay So that .dll did not fix it as I stated in my last post.

Here are the logs.

Looking at the logs I see where it says:

TV Listings: unable to find channel with oid 72.

Is there somewhere that I can remove any references to this?
Would clearing out the recordings with shows from this channel clear this up?

yes, that would help probably, but I think that there's something that needs to be fixed in the plugin. I'd need to have a look at your gbpvr.db3 database file (including the recordings that are causing the crash) to debug the issue - it would be nice if you could zip and e-mail it to me, I'll send you a private message with my e-mail address.

Just in case - do you have the same error when using the default blue skin?

For the blue skin, Yes it was exactly the same results and error in the log file.

I have sent you the db. I will be looking forward to seeing the end result, but in the mean time I am going to make a copy of my DB and try to get this mess cleaned up.

have you already had a chance to see if the tvlistings.dll I sent to you last week fixes the problem with the unreferenced channel?
