Thanks for the prompt response - got the blue common dialog files now.

Unfortunatly on enty to the plugin in GBPVR I get the error 'Error not found: VoidGBPVR.Public.SkinHelper.ClearCache()' any ideas?

I've never seen that on before. And ClearCache() is not something I call.

Can you post the whole error (or the whole log).

That was the whole error message ...

I suspect there is a good chance that the problem is related to the fact I am running GBPVR ver 93.10 - now the Christmas recordings are over I think I will attempt an upgrade to 95.16 - tomorrow maybe (gulp).

I shall report back when the upgrade is completed.

uhh, yeah probably is. With the visualisations and stuff, the older version probably wont work any more at all.

You could try using the config program and turning on album art by default and see if that helps.

When I download the zip it only has one .exe in it, no mdb file. Should it? I install it to it's default location "c:\program files\devnz" but when I set it up in config to point to a directory/volume of music I get:
"Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an objet."
Probably just something silly I didn't enable?
screen shots look nice, can't wait to start using it.

I just downloaded the zip for musicLibrary and it has dlls and skin.xml files, and the DB zip file contains an MBD file.

Is musiclibrary2 a better plugin for mp3 collections? I may as well give it a shot since the other one doesn't seem to work for me.

Hmm, don't ask me I'd be biased.

I only had a really quick look at the others before I decided to write my own.

And it's main driving force was that I didn't keep MP3's in Artist/Album directories but in MP3CD/Artist/Album and this is prone to duplicates unless you have something (a DB) to show everything independantly of where it is on the file system.

yepee - 95.16 looks like it's upgraded with no problems (i hate upgrading a stable system) - I might even try a non-standard skin.

And your plugin now works - the ClearCache() error was down to running 93.10 (and occured without visulisations enabled).

I'm new to this music stuff (the wife wants an mp3 player so I thought I would make the mp3 files available on the Hi-Fi via the MVP as well).

I've got dbAmp software, how would you recommend geting hold of the the album art automatically? would you use a tag in each song or a .jpg file in the folder? (I'm only going to rip our cd's once - I intend getting it right first time).
