kylebrophy Wrote:Thanks Sub - i did find a post eventually that said to create a different capture source for each sat - and then point to the same device number.

This works - i can now have different LO and diseq numbers for each sat.

One thing i did notice (at least with the multiswitch i use) - is that for GB-PVR I need to set the 22KHz diseq switch signal frequency to 0 to turn it on (reverse to what i expected) - i was wondering why i wasnt seeing any signals on the sats for the parameters i had in my STB. Once i figured that out everything went along swimmingly Smile

I now have 9 capture devices set up (8 Sats on nova-s-plus & PVR150).
Ok, good to hear you got it sorted.

I'm sure surprised we had that many visible sats in our part of the world. I'm guessing you've got some hugh C Band dishes in that setup?

Quote:One thing ive noticed is when i go from one sat capture device to another (say from D1 to B3) - GBPVR sits there and thinks about it (which is weird since same physical PCI card, and that STB changes instantly) - then says there is no signal ... then the signal meters light up and the channel appears (the whole process woud take a good 30-60 secs). Changing channels on the same sat is fairly much instant - and so is changing to an analogue channel on the PVR150.
The switch between capture sources will cause the graph to stop and be restarted, which is a little more time than switching channels on the same capture source, but it should still be pretty quick. Here it takes about three to four seconds.

Reproduce this problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll look for a source of the delay.

No Just a torridal T90 for KU band.
AsiaSat4, NSS5, GE23, IS2, IS8, D1,C1,B3

Tho that being said NSS5 and GE23 have nothing on them at the mo - unless you happen to catch a new feed on NSS5.

IS2 and IS8 dont really have that much either - but since ive got a lnb pointing at them - i might as well make the content avail (even if not watched often).

Great Thanks - Ill try to do that in next day or so - PC is still in development at the mo (not 'live' as such) - so just have to plug it all back in.

one thing ive noticed is that it take quite a while for the OSD to even appear when changing to a diff sat - i guess this goes hand-in-hand with the picture not appearing either.

Do i need to change the log settings? - i believe its currently set to DEBUG.

Not glaringly urgent really - as im the only one at home that watches other sats mostly (wives happy just to watch D1 / Freeview/SCTV).

Which to go on a tangent - is there anyway i can add Imparja /NITV in GB-PVR? - are the channel PIDs kept somewhere? - as the transponder scan wont/cant add them via the regular scan.
