if you get directories working i think you should add to the dvd ripper to make it create a directory and place an iso in there (this can be found in the original dvd ripper plugin, its just an extra line no biggy).

my theory to copy and dvd is
rip dvd to temp.iso temp.mds
eject the dvd (using the window media control (easiest way i know to eject the dvd))
wait until there is a dvd in the drive (using if(Directory.exists(dvddrive))
then burn the iso from mds file
then once that has done delete the temp.iso and temp.mds

only thing is im not sure if a blank dvd will evalute to be true using Directory.exists (i havent got any blank dvd lying around to test it)

does this theory sound right? anyone catch something i did wrong?

OK, I got it.

I haven't read this in this thread so..

Aparently, this error comes up when there are no files in any one of the directories selected for the video library...

- added the ability to play &quot;video_ts&quot; - folders
Hi,
Great plugin!  I have been looking at GB-PVR for a while now. I currently use JovePlayer (TVidia) because I have an extensive online DVD collection. Now, with this plugin, I am looking to switch. Thank you for your time and effort on this. [Image: smile.gif]

All of my DVDs were ripped using DVDDecrypter in file mode So I have the following directory structure:
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
Movies
   101_Dalmations
       VIDEO_TS
           VIDEO_TS.IFO
           VIDEO_TS.VOB
           VTS_01_0.IFO
           VTS_01_0.VOB
           VTS_01_1.VOB
           ... etc.
   101_Dalmations_II
       VIDEO_TS
           VIDEO_TS.IFO
           VIDEO_TS.VOB
           VTS_01_0.IFO
           VTS_01_0.VOB
           VTS_01_1.VOB
           ... etc.
   ... etc.
[/QUOTE]
I am having a no success getting it to play the &quot;VIDEO_TS&quot; folder. The first thing I notice is the &quot;play&quot; button doesn't show up. In it place is the &quot;files...&quot; button. When selected, the &quot;VIDEO_TS&quot; directory shows up, when it is selected, the error that pops up is &quot;The requested playback directory is not a DVD&quot;

Again, thank you for this great plugin, I look forward to its maturity.

thank you for your feedback, unfortunately i couldn't work on the plugin for the last few weeks.

i will try to fix the bugs you mentioned in the next couple of days. @Gordo: the &quot;files...&quot; - behaviour is what i intended. i will change the plugin, so that you can use the &quot;play...&quot; - button (not the one on the remote), if it finds a &quot;video_ts&quot; directory and no other movie-files in the subdirectory. i need your gbpvr.exe.log

@aegisx: could you please post or send your logfile? maybe you forgot to change the settings in the configuration after installing the new gb-pvr-version.

The GBPVR.exe.log seemed a little long to post here, so I emailed it to you.  Please let me know if you got it ok.

Thanks!

yes, it arrived, thank you. if it doesn't disturb you, could you please send me your gbcollection.xml? there seems to be an error with the folder-names.
