If I'm not too late on this:

as long as there's some red and some black included, it's fine for me ! Wink

well, since its what I use :p yeah, the red-black theme will be included. I will probably try to include some other stuff like named colors so it is easier to change the color of the background and list buttons.

and just a heads up, I am going to be away all weekend... so there probably wont be any progress made.

what still needs to be done is.
the horizontal menu
I need to change some images for reven (him and his crazy request to use more of the screen :p )
I need to skin the weather plugin (is that it??)
I need to skin the TV guide
I need to skin all the popups
I need to skin the OSD

currently skinned is:
vertical main menu
cinema
recordings
music library
picture library
video library
system

Hooray ! This is good news Smile

Although I've got an 16:9 screen, the vertical menu looks surprisingly good. I'm not at all sure whether a horizontal menu might look better ...

Another remark: I always found the default font size way too small (right, I'm an old man...), especially in the TV-guide.
Any change of getting an option like '150% font size' ?

so long,

iwan.

I hate to sound impatient, but I was wondering if there is a status update for Sassari V2
I am really excited about the version, and I loved the preview
Also Thanks for all your hardwork

status...

um, I have moved it over to my main HTPC, and I think it looks pretty good, if you would like I can upload my current progress, as its about 50%.

but to be honest I have been pretty busy as of late (not that it is a change), and I didnt want to spend my little free time tweaking XML files... I found metroid prime corruption to be a more enjoyable way to spend my time :o

I will try to get more work done today... but I could always use a bit of help, since it really takes quite a bit of time to do this stuff.

It would great if you could upload the current version
As far as helping out, I don't know anything about skinning, but I'm up for learning and trying to help in any way that I can. I will only be able to help in my limited free time, which is shrinking do to school work, but i can put some time on for the cause
Let me know what I can do to help

I havnt really done any plugins (third party) other than cinema and weather, if you want to take a stab at those, it would be great, just try to model them off the cinema plugin (not the other ones, I am in the process of updating them!)

I just want to say that I really appreciate all the work put into Sassari. I've been using it for a long time now and am patiently (since I have no skinning skills or much time) waiting for the new version.

Just my two cents - I like the blue, but keep the red around for when I get bored and want to mix it up a bit, so user control sounds a like a great idea.

Thanks Big Grin
