In a similar way to Olivers suggestion, why not use Dabdig - http://www.spidersweb.freeserve.co.uk/dab/dabdig.htm - would seem to cover several recording devices in one go.

In terms of simply being able to schedule recordings from a DVB-T card why not look at Web Scheduler. Â It is a free browser based scheduler that works with DVBT cards that have BDA drivers (VisionPlus, kworld, dvico and NovaT definately work now and there are BDA drivers in development for avermedia and lifeview flyterra. I think that nebula are thinking BDA as well?). Â A bit of extra code in the media.html file of the hauppauge software to point the rec button at it (supplied by the developer of WS) means that I can schedule recordings from my MVP. Â I'm sure something similar could be done with GBPVR using this program which is now open source.

Just adding my interest - I've put an order in for a PVR-350 just so I can use gbpvr but I also have a Nova-T DVB receiver that I would also like to use on gbpvr.
Thanks for all the hard work done so far by the way - much appreciated.

DVBCore gives great support for satellite but very poor support for terrestrial (only the technotrend based cards and twinhans visionplus work). Developing or adopting existing BDA driver based apps offer far greater support than DVBCore for terrestrial digital.

It simply sits in the middle between some sort of EPG (like DigiGuide or myHTPC) taking requests and converting them to stuff them into the schedule of an existing TV/Radio (etc) application. So - while it does support a number of different DVB cards - it does it via applications that either come with that card or from 3rd-parties. I suppose that it would be pretty easy to treat GB-PVR simply as the EPG front-end and have it call DABDig on a scheduled recording or to request live viewing - simple command line execution with a long list of parameters. I'm happy to take a look if anyone is interested. As it happens ... it has been able to schedule into GB-PVR since September 2004 - in a very experimental way.
