Twinhan Starbox 7021 channel scan?

you are best to get on your roof and have a look on the sticker of the lnb take a photo and post it would be the easiest way to make sure
or a model number of it

i have another LNB lying around also, but this one has worked for the past 3 yrs with my old fortec...

have you tried any other programs like media portal or sage

see if one of them will work this will help decide where the issue is

its working with mytheatre with the 1.72 driver
the driver that came with the disk.

but it isnt recognized as a BDA driver and GBPVR isnt recognizing it, is there a way to manually enter this info?

uninstall the card
go to twinhans site
download the driver from the driver page
then make sure it installs the bda driver
do not install their software let windows do it (driver only it will pop upo with this is not digitally sgned just tick yes )
thats how i did it and mine works

i know nothing about my theatre or it works but gbpvr requires the bda drivers to be installed
if you tick the box in config that says only show devices on this machine if it doesnt show anything it basically means its not going to work till it does show
sometimes you have to add the card but in your case i know its already added

ok, i downloaded and installed this driver:
"7021A v1.0.3.4 (2006. 05)"
from this site:

and i clicked the "only show devices detected in this machine" box and it shows the twinhan starbox.
and i scan with a signal present, but no channels...

im going to try a couple different transponders and see what my results are.

ok, i tried a few differed tp's and no channels show up.

now im starting to think that there is a setting somewhere in GBPVR that i have to set to obtain these channels.

i dont know, im just thinking out loud..

btw, do you know if the Hauppage wintv-nova-s-plus supports HDTV signals?
