Mapped drives should work normally since they look to the app just like regular drives, although I had never tried it; good to hear that it does. Network paths are excluded from the disk space stuff. The simple rule applies is if the drive path starts with \\ it is excluded otherwise it is processed.
I have updated the next version to allow navigation to remote machines on the network when selecting paths in the config app. Jeff

Jeff,
Iâve installed the plug in and itâs a real nice work of art. The thing is I would like to use DVD Shrink and Iâm not really sure how to manually peace the files back together. I noticed in the configuration there are two entries that call Besweet one for AC3 and the other for PCM. Are they either called or just one? If I use AC# were does the {delayTime} as in -ota( -d {delayTime}, setting come from? I still donât see how delayac3 fits into the picture. Could you elaborate a little on the process that goes on especially about the delayac3 and how it fits into thing? Thanks - Really great work!
The delay parameter is read from the Stream Information.txt file produced by dvddecrypter. The delay is the offset between th video and audio and only applies to ac3 encoded audio and not PCM. The standalone delayac3 utility is no longer needed. Instead I pass the delay into besweet and it does the time correction.

Jeff:
Did you make any changes to the VA Panel? It's no longer showing any of the next recordings and also not showing the recording in progress icon anymore. In fact the only thing it's showing is the weather.

Jeff, how would I disable these extras?
ArchiverUtility.exe GetDVDInfo.exe DVD Info Editor.exe GetTVInfo.exe Can I just delete them? I like the gui of VA plugin, but really don't need the extras. Anyway, I just downloaded the new version, and will try it today! BTW, on the plugin web page, I think you have the release date mistyped as 8-9 instead of 9-9.

nightwalker Wrote:Jeff: Check to make sure they are enabled. Go to the congig app, select the video archive panel, and then configure each panel widget and makde sure the display in panel check box is checked. It should have just used whatever settings you had before. If your config.xml (or send it to me at jefflmailbox-gbpvr@yahoo.com) I can see what it is configured to do. Jeff

tipstir Wrote:Did you update the GetTVInfo.exe also? That's causing a crash at the end of the process before the next process is run in the PostUpdateEPG.bat. Mine was dated 3/12/2005? No, I did not update it. I just ran it on two computers here and it worked fine on both. If you send me you log files and more info on what exactly it did when it crashed I can try to seee whay it is not working for you. Also, there should be no need to run the utility from your PostUpdateEPG.bat file. As long as you have the video archive plug-in active in your GBPVR configuration the pug-in will automatically try to download a show poster the first time you record a new show. That is, it will do an incremental update versus trying to update everything, which makes it faster than gettvinfo. GetTVInfo only needs to be run the very first time you install the video archive plug-in or if you have done recordings during periods of time in which the plug-in was disabled. Jeff |
