As far as the skin error in the logs are concerned it looks to me that the MVP skin is still set to default in config, it pays to actually select a skin for the MVP as leaving it at default upsets a number of plugins.

The skin is blue like I selected in the first tab in the config. For the MVP it indeed has DEFAULT. I'll select the blue on the MVP tab also. Will test tonight when I'm home (it is now 10 am here).

It works... It looks like when you have selected Blue on the first tab in the config and default on the MVP tab it doesn't work.

ACTCMS has already found a way to stop this from happening & will include it in the next release.

I just installed the mlpanelbeta (skins, plugin, enabled it as the screensaver in config.xml) and followed the instructions to change the MLPanel.xml file to point the slideShowDir directory to c:\photo, however, I get no pics just the logo in the screen saver.

I know MLPanel is running as I can change the different views and see various versions of the logo appear (complete with the currently playing track and the next track correctly displayed), but I only get the logo! Also, Interfaces.dll.log shows that MLPanel is engaged and that the slideshowdir is c:\photo ... so it must be running.

I have absolutely no album art though... perhaps it is looking for a directory that doesn't exist and failing to add the slideshow directory?

While MLPanel was running did you use the Yellow Button (^Y) to toggle over to slideshow mode. If you have tried that can you re-create the problem and post the Interfaces.dll.log please.

Will look further when I have the time. No problem just want you to know.

The default mode is to display Album Art (or logo if not playing music). Once you add a valid photo dir (or dirs) to config, the yellow button (^Y) toggles between Album Art and Slide Show modes. The "" will probably stop it from finding a valid photo dir.

I've never tested it with Mayhem3, but it should work provided you copied the Blue\MLPanel folder into Mayhem3. Does it work with the Blue skin.

If you do get the time, I'd be really interested to see your Interfaces.dll.log file after MLPanel has started and you used the Yellow button.
