mvallevand Wrote:@Lindsay I think the new downloader must be helping, glad its working. For WAF I strongly suggest adding the line from GB-PVR.html file to your PCH as a web service. In this way you will be able to say "Hit Source - Source - 4" (or wherever you put it) to start GBPVR)

Martin

Sorry, but I have searched all over in vain for how to add a web service. I've tried the ip# in a browser but get no response. Is there somewhere you can point me for the magic recipe, please, Martin?

In the PCH menu: go to Web services. On the top left of the screen you'll see the option "Add / Edit". After choosing that option you can add a new webservice by entering a name and URL.

Does everybody realise that if you name telnet.html index.htm this it will be run by default?
That means that when you power up the PCH and it defaults to the last selected source (after a few seconds - a minute?) it will present you with the GBPVR options without hitting a key so then you just press Enter and you're in. As I only use the PCH for GBPVR this works every time.

Actually it depends on the firmware whether index.html is loaded. Also if your tv is SD you need to use index_sd.html

You probably want to add a variant of this too

mvallevand Wrote:There is a full VNC client in mvpmcx2, GBPVR hasn't even been optimized for it and I haven't figured out how to give easy access to it since it is pretty experimental running it from telnet. Mouse support probably needs support library from Sigma not the kernel, which is much harder to speculate on.

Martin

Is the Sigma chip able for Mouse support? Charon told today in the German Forums Sigma have no interest to support this.
Is there any other way and how to contact sigma for this topic?

I have never seen any mouse event notifications. Something is possible, according to Hi-Jack HDI have done it on the Sigma chipset with their player's browser but I would guess it is through mouse emulation.

I just did phone with sigma on this topic. They see no Problem with the chip. As far they understand it is a problem of the middleware to provide Mousesupport.

Mouse supportor emulation. The question is how to use VNC Client from PCH with a mouse that is pluged in in the USB port there...

Maybea demois possiblefor you in this... as emulation or not. The users interest the result maybe more.

Didn't realise about it not being on all firmwares but if I do want to go back to PCH I just use the Source button. Having this option on the html page would look good though.
