Ton Wrote:Hi,

XBMC has a "funny" way to handle drives and shares... Would you want to open an SMB-connection directly or via a pre-defined "Source"??

How do you see that? What we might be able to do is to make it that when you press Enter/Ok on a recording, you get a sub-screen that allows you to:
- View the recording (using the configured recordings-drive)
- Remove the recording
- <Other actions>

Both options would then be configurable in the "config" section....

With regards to coding, I could point you in the right direction (if that's what you want), or I could put this on my "todo" list for the next release (probably in a few weeks)...

I guess since a source can be an SMB the most flexible way would be to use a source.

On the coding we can try both methods, if I can't get it to work after your direction or don't have time then when you get to your next release it would be fine,

Thanks,

I have looked at the log-file and it says that there's a "500 Error generated by server"...

This usually means that there's some inconsistancy between the code that myGBPVR is using and the code that's actually on the server...

Could you try (re-)installing EWA version 83? It's can be found on the Wiki and the release message can be found in this forum...

Don`t no what i did wrong, i`d installed it alt 2 different computer for atleast 3 times.

now it does work. (i did had to make i folde Live in de temp folder)

thanks for your time, it looks great.

Ok I'm confused. I try to install this I have been running XBMC for a long time watching GBPVR recordings, anyway I found none of the directories in the locations that was in the readme file.. example all my script are under E:/XBMC/Scripts that my XBMC use. So that make it confusing for me what goes where and as under the default for Windows under the user I found it to be located under D:\Documents and Settings\my user name\Application Data\XBMC\scripts which my XBMC don't use. With that said where does my Crypto files go?

Well, in the end it doesn't matter (I gave the locations of where a plain-vanilla 9.11 installation would place the files).

You need to create a "myGBPVR" directory under your script-directory (if that's E:/XBMC/Scripts in your case, that's fine)...

The Crypto files go underneath the myGBPVR directory into "resources/lib/Crypto"... The script uses this as the path for the library (it's relative to the script location, not hardcoded)...

Thanks Ton

That did the trick, sorry about being confused just I work on systems every day remotely and have to follow documentation to the letter. That what happens when you forget how to think outside the box ..

You have to set up XBMC to see your GBPVR directory as a share or UPNP share - to play files he is using XBMC's native support of that

I have been using XBMC for a few months now and it can see all my recordings, movies and music just the XBMC script I just installed cannot see it when I select Watch recordings via the script under myGBPVR.
