What LCD Plugin or Utility to use these days?

AH HA! Thats probably the reason for my problem...

I have 11 total setup in capture source... kinda a pain really. I do it to prioritize tuners. It seems I get better performance out of the 2250 than the 1600, but I havent modified it since I update drivers last and perhaps I dont need to do this anymore. In config I have them setup like this

2250 QAM 2
2250 QAM 1
2250 Analog 2
2250 Analog 1
1600 QAM
VCR (S-video into the 2250)
1600 Analog
2250 Analog 2
2250 Analog 1
2250 QAM 2
2250 QAM 1

I am open to any suggestions to redo this if it helps. I know it would help me on rescans!!! LOL

oh, maybe have to restart tray app? hmmm... are only installed tuners showing in gbpvrtray?
i have a exe that can help debug it...let know what you're seeing now in tray apps..

ouch! i think the tray app only supports 8 tuners...
what does gbpvr tray app look like with all those?

To be honest its hard to tell at the moment because I use 120dpi on my desktop to barely be able to see it across the room. I think when I looked before when i had it set to 96dpi it just showed the first 8 starting at the top in capture sources in config. I am backing up my GBPVR and I am going to delete the duplicate tuners. I moved the 1600 down to the first in line to watch live and it looks good now in analog and QAM. I will get back with you here in a bit to see how this experiment goes.

Ok, with both original and second status2.exe files when I try to run them it gives me this error and I have 7 tuners configured and 7 in the tray.

EDIT: Do you think it could have anything to do with my VCR tuner which is the svideo into the 2250 with no EPG Data?

probably...normally there's epg data for everything...
i don't get any problems with the 2 fake tuners i made, but i haven't recorded anything on them either...lol [both have no epg either]
not sure if i'll have a fix for that one..but should only happen with manual records on a no epg source..

I wasnt using it, I was wondering if the source might wreck something. status2.exe craps out immediately on startup. It wasnt before when I had too many tuners.

Interesting, all my pending and recurring recordings are gone now. I am going to restore my backup and see what happens. Thats what images and backups are for.

EDIT: Back to normal. Just the string of unused tuners (restored back to 11... ha, baby steps) ... I wish I could help more. I really like what you did here.

try this one...i skipped the time parts if no rec was found..
also, if you give it any cmdline params, it will popup a debug dialog showing how many sources it sees...may help with fixing that part...
screen cap that screen and post it if you can..
tho i think that was all to do with your db problem..

oh yea, you have to update epg if you delete tuners so it can reschedule with remaining tuners..
