looks like, I'm pretty sure sub is generating these xml requests manually so would of just missed this.

Hopefully this patch fixes it.

NOTE: backup your original file first. This one was built on a different machine, and I'm not entirely sure it's binary compatible with the main builds from my usual development machine.

It looks like I missed this version of NShared.dll when I posted the R1a update. If this does indeed fix this problem for reven's users, I'd like to include it in the patch list. I know it worked ok for odin, but I'm hesitant to include it when sub said it could be questionable since it wasn't built on his usual dev box.

sub, is this file ok for the masses, or would you like to rebuild NShared on your dev box and post it again?

Samsung App doesn't show any TV listings or Recordings after upgrading overnight to the latest NPVR v3.2.9
Deinstalled Samsung App, restarted UE46ES8000, reinstalled Samsung App on the UE46ES8000 to have latest version but still I have the same problem.
Samsung App settings to connect to NPVR works fine, Connection Successful (local IP address NPVR server + port 8866).
However when selecting the TV Guide in the left upper corner the bars indicator keeps going from left to right and back without updating the TV guide.
In Recordings the only listing the Samsung App is displaying is the one for Recurring recordings. All the other listings, What's new etc, are empty.
What's wrong?

i havent tested it against that version of nextpvr, you should always check to confirm the samsung app supports the latest version of nextpvr before upgrading (i wasnt aware there was a new version out until this post).

I'll see if I can fix it up this weekend and work on a couple of the other bugs that have popped up.

OK, great.
Any progress for fixing the Aspect Ratio functionality (see my post #39).
If that can be fixed together with the new NPVR version it would be awesome because then your Samsung App is getting close to get the well deserved "Quality Approved" stamp (LOL).

nah, aspect ratio is a PITA to work on (have to compile, deploy, test on live device (which requires you to turn the device on/off so about 1 minute between attempts), and theres very little documentation around this. All i ever got it doing was zooming in about 500%...).

Would really like the aspect ratio thing to be sorted, but not sure if it can be fixed currently. i should checkout their new SDK to see if that fixes it....

Might be a good idea checking out Samsungs latest SDK. In the latest UE46ES8000 fw002009 they finally fixed the TS stutering streaming problem of playing TS recorded videos smoothly.
So there is some progress on the Samsung side of development land.

argh, I just bought an BD-FM59C (aka F5900) tonight (to replace my too-old-and-not-quite-SMART-enough D5300), and was looking forward to finally seeing this app in all it's glory. Oh well, I've waited this long, I can wait 'til you get updated for NPVR v3.2.9.
