The problem is likely here
Unexpected error in AddTempFile() The tempfile table gets updated with every renew, if the lock takes too long the livetv will die. Martin

Wow what a difference using X-Newa web client searches are almost instantly and nothing interrupts liveTV.

Also if you setup a recording that is in Syndication like say Criminal Minds or NCIS etc... that contains a lot of episodes on a Client it will also kill livetv. Works fine using X-NEWA.

Sorry about that. I did forget to send the NRecord.log. Sure enough, in that log, the automated EPGupdate.bat fired up at the time of the LiveTV freeze, even though I manually updated the EPG data earlier. So it appears that the update is the culprit in this case. I went through the Wiki relating to automating the EPG, but didn't see how to set the EPG update time - would you recommend the prefered way of doing this?
