Should v5 try to reconnect a scheduled recording?

Just had a thought on this. Another solution would be to have a setting that keeps all scheduled programs recording regardless of signal loss. Even if it results in an hour long black video. As it is, a small disruption in the source stream, more than a couple seconds, corrupts the TS file's index making playback loop and the ff/rew slider scaling be way off usually 25 hours and some minutes. Don't expect a reply on this but thought I'd mention the idea. Thanks for listening.

It's not possible to make it record black in the bits where the stream was unavailable. These black bits would need to have been included in the video at encoding time. With IPTV, the encoding is done by your IPTV provider. NextPVR is just copying the IPTV-provider's stream to disk - it's not reencoding it, so has no opportunity to add anything to the stream.
