I ran the latest copy of NextTool posted about an hour ago.  It appeared to take a few seconds to run but still did not work as we hoped.

command entered:
sudo -u nextpvr /opt/dotnet/dotnet NextTool.dll --vod /media/recordings/titleofmovie/titleofmovie.ts

terminal output:
NEXTPVR_INSTALLDIR /opt/nextpvr/system/
NEXTPVR_DATADIR /opt/nextpvr/system/data/
NEXTPVR_DATADIR_USERDATA /var/opt/nextpvr/

Here is the output from the log file:

  GNU nano 8.1                                                                    NextTool.log

Unfortunately there is no link between the recording and vod other than the vod name and recording title and that doesn't work with TV. Using the EXTINF you provided it did work for me, perhaps try another movie. I will add a bit more logging.

Also skipping in a ts file from my source from Kodi was not as good as with original. Once duration is fixed we can look at that.

Your example you gave with running nexttool referenced http using 'google.com'.. am I supposed to be entering a "http://localhost:8866/xxxxz.ts" location for nexttool or the local file system example like I gave in my last post?

No the file on your file system. That was show you it shouldn't open a browser window

Got it. Do you think part of the problem may be the naming of the file? I had the "replace spaces with period character" on by default. I am trying another recording now without it and going to test once more to see if it has a different result locating the VOD.

The logic uses the database filename. The logic that changes the duration also corrects the name so it won't match after that though, but that doesn't explain the 0 duration

I got the same log for the new move I tried downloading from VOD with original name instead of period characters "Has no VOD". I will let you know if I think of anything else I can try. At this point I am running out of ideas.

The match name is not the filename, if you pm me a link to npvr db3 I could figure it out but I can't guess either unless you are running it twice.

Thanks I see the issue the undocumented NextPVR API has a hardcoded limit of 6000 entries when it returns VOD. I have to change to code to use raw sqlite, you have an exceptional large database but it is what it is.

Before I do this pick one of the new releases, most are at the top of the database and confirm that it fixes the issue with Kodi (and downloads the mp4)
