It almost sounds like you need to resetup your episode guide and recording source from scratch. I've been following your XGuide thread as well.

I might also suggest the following:

1. Use the built in Recording items and plugins that come with GBPVR for a while first just to make sure that everything is working correctly. (i.e. programs are recording on the correct channels, conflicts are being detected correctly, etc.)

2. After that is verified to be working, reinstall the XRecod suite, and slowly start to move programs over to the XRecord/CDK Scheduler, making sure to delete any re-occuring recordings that you setup in the GBPVR builtin scheduler.

3. Slowly start to add additional programs to XRecord/CDK Scheduler. Check the recording's log file and the Conflict screen to see if conflicts are there.

As I said, it appears something in your recording source configuration has gotten messed up some how. Not sure how, but my suggestion right now would be to start over and proceed forward with the above steps.

Hi All,

Here is my dilema. I have comskip from my old install of GB-PVR and think it must still be working because I have turned off the comskip in the processing tab on the newly updated GB-pvr. Do I still need the old comskip plugin or is it built into the new GB-PVR build? I am also using comskippad as comskip has been chopping the ends off the show before a commercial break. Tahnks for any help and for this forum!

Comskip is not inside the GBPVR build.
YOu can keep the old plugin and enable is again.
Or use postprocessing.bat if you need comskipadd.

General question.
Can someone that is experiencing "comskip has been chopping the ends off the show before a commercial break" set verbose=10 and output_framearray=1, run comskip on such a recording, zip the created files and mail them to me so I can try to fix it?

If the complaint is about parts of show being cut of being in a different aspect ratio just before the commercial you can try this setting:
cut_on_ar_change=0
which disables the very agressive cutting.
P4 3GHz 1GB, 250GB, nVidia dualTV, GBPVR 1.3.11, XP

If you use the recording scheduler that comes with GBPVR, you can setup season (re-occuring) recordings. If you want to use CDK Scheduler with XRecord, then it is suggested that you delete any re-occuring recordings that you have setup with the default scheduler, before using CDK Scheduler. It'll help cut down on some of the confusion that can occur.

It deletes it from the Schedule (PrioritoryRecordings). It doesn't delete it if it from the Pending recordings. In order to get it back in the Scheduler (PriorityRecordings.xml), you'll need to re-add it to the Scheduler.
