[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (normanr @ Mar. 02 2005,04:07)]Popup: Yea, i use Firefox to develop, and then i test in IE (must have missed that one). I'll see if I can remove the bottom scroll bar. The side scrollbar is meant to appear if the discription is really long. Maybe I can just make the popup bigger :-)

Backend: errr, which cancel button? if you hit the cancel button on the manage recordings page for the season recording then i cancels all recordings. If you hit cancel for a single recording on the manage page just that recording is cancelled (but will come back when you update the EPG). Or is this when you hit the cancel button in the popup?
When you hit cancel on the Manage Recordings page to cancel a series....all shows, even ones that are not that show, are cancled.

Example:

Scheduled "Yes, Dear" to record for the series.
Scheduled to record tonight's episode of Lost.
Scheduled to record tonights episode of Alias.

Go to Manage Records....all are scheduled.

Cancel the Yes, Dear series and all of the scheduled shows(even Alias and Lost) are now gone.

Is this how it is to work or should it have only removed the Yes, Dear series?

UncleJohnsBand: Found the Season recording bug - it was occuring when you scheduled the recording not during the cancel. (If you schedule it using the gbpvr frontend, then cancel works as expected)

mroy: I've added a search by same unique_identifer that only gets shown if the current show has one. Please test & left me know how it works.

Thanks....seems to be working fine now....I see it now actually scheduels the shows rather than just having the single Season entry, Verified cancleing the season only cancels those shows.....not everything that is recorded. [Image: biggrin.gif]

How is the search by same unique_identifier supposed to work?

scheduled record: yea i noticed that the first entry in the db was a season recording and a once off :-) so that may well have fixed other things. (also canceling of conflicts are fixed bu sub in the next version)

unique_identifier search: basically IF your program has a unique_identifier, than you can click the extra link in the details popup and it'll list other programs with the same unique_identifier. I don't have access to Zap2It data so I'm not sure how well this will work. (I altered my db manually and it seems to operate correctly here. If it doesn't work dump a small part of your db to an external file - like cvs or excel - and i can test it here)

i've checked it with your db, and it works okay. In the details popup next to existing 'all episodes' link, there is a new 'this episode' which will show all programs that have the same unique_identfier.

Does it still do this? I can't remember if I fixed this.

Yep....still does this....I figured you were still working on this. It is the only thing I have found that doesn't seem to be correctr....everything else works great.
