I'll watch for the new NPG3VR version to post and we can continue with debug on mvpmc. Smile

Hi

Not sure if I'm missing something here but I don't have a bin folder under npvr and I cant see where to specify the bin file in the settings.
Should I create a folder and will it then just pick up whichever .bin I put in there?

Cheers

And it's working quite well. I've reconnected my MVP's - they were missed in the secondary rooms. Also the .TS direct streaming option that I somehow missed is working, which is very important to me, as I'm all DVB-C these days.

Looking forward to the next versions further improvements.

If you're still running Win XP then you'll find the dongle folder at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR Smile

I have updated the test dongle and mvpmc should now pass better time values to NPVR, skipping and comskip seem normal. Resume still needs some work by sub and I might need to do a bit more too.

Also this patch http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...post389416 might allow live tv to play for a long time on one channel without a registry change.

Good luck, I'd be happy to check out logs for problems.

Martin, if registry change has already been implemented what would your advice be regarding this patch? Install patch leave registry as already hacked. Unhack registry entry? Not bother with patch?

Cheers

I'd install the update but it's really up to you on what you want the registry settings to be. I guess I'd start with the default (by removing/renaming the key) and adjust it if necessary.

Thanks Martin,

unfortunately that patch seems to have thrown a wobbly on my system, logs looking like something to do with the unmanaged.dll, will resolve tomorrow, too late for investigation now!

many cheers

Ok, you probably need to update to the other patches in johnsonx42's sticky. Hard to keep the beta pieces current.

Martin,

with reg key deleted completely LiveTV does indeed play longer with the patch you indicated. Had LiveTV running for over one hour, (left it running for longer while I was out and at some point it did hang but this was after at least an hour and a half of playing time) thank you for all the work getting .ts to MVP's with NPVR so far!

Haven't tried with recordings yet.

Only functionality I get with MVP RC and Live TV is stop and mute, (no pause or skip back) is this to be expected at this point?

Cheers

Steeb
