Skip / fast forward not working - random intervals and direction

I can understand that in this way MVP support will stop completely. So, if I can help beta testing I will.

I am not sure what sub's intentions are for the MVP but you probably will need to PM him, he doesn't follow this forum actively. MVP support is going to stop anyway, and the apathy shown by MVP users over the last year certainly doesn't help. For two people that don't use the MVP, I do feel Sub and I did our fair part in 2010 but we did need more user feedback.

Yes, I know both of you did your best. I am grateful for that and I fully understand if you both quit. To be honest, I am surprised there still is support (thankfully).

I quit following the forum because I was keeping the MVP (no money for another extender) and I thought NPVR wasn't going to work on it.
So I continued with 1.3.11. Besides that, I was personally very busy.

Just wanted to say that, if needed, I want to help.

Both Martin and sub went way beyond the call of duty to get the MVP working with NextPVR. I am very thankful that this happened. It was a shame that more people were not giving feedback at that time.

Still having the same issues about skipping on the MVP:

Skipping on the MVP and gb-pvr 1.3.11 takes just over a second (and after a short black screen there's the new part of the video).
Skipping on the MVP and NPVR 2.2.6 takes 6 or 7 seconds (and then it takes about a second for the old and the new to merge; the images have large pixels).

I played back a recording, pushed "page down" 5 or 6 times. Added the logs. Sometimes it skips (after 6 or 7 seconds) BACK to the time I pressed the button.

Until sub releases a specific fix for MVP it won't get any better. The fixes for the PC don't apply.

I know, but Sub asked me to bump the thread:

Unfortunately I cant see any obvious cause in the logs.

I'm too busy right now to find an MVP and try reproducing, but if you bump the thread in a few days, I should hopefully have more time available.
