next time this occurs can you look in the task manager to see if you have vlc.exe running. I believe the code should attempt to kill it.

I dont think vlc provides the hooks when it transcodes.

no.

I can't seem to get this guy to go. Here are my settings:

Code:
<settings>
    <TempFile>E:\TV Shows\dvd.mpg</TempFile>
    <PlayMode mode="SIZE" value="150"/>
    <DVDDrive>i</DVDDrive>
    <BaseFileDirectory>C:\DVDs</BaseFileDirectory>
    <MountDVDDrive>j</MountDVDDrive>
    <ForceMvpMode>true</ForceMvpMode>
</settings>

What is the difference between DVDDrive and MountDVDDrive ? I have DVDDrive set to my physical DVD drive, and MountDVDDrive set to my Daemon Tools virtual drive.

that should be correct. Make sure you are saving the file into your current skin directory.

Can you do any transcodings at all, file or dvd ? If not try to remove the space in the TempFile I am not sure if it likes that.

Looks like nothing is happening. I'll remove the space and try again.

Still no dice. It's like none of the pushbuttons seem to do anything.

you do have vlc installed.
C:\Progra~1\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

and you have the batch files in gbpvr\

the buttons invoke the batch files.

Well, sort of. My system drive is D, so it's installed there. I have already changed the .bat files to reflect this. Is the C:\progra~1 hardcoded somewhere in the xdvd assembly?

I do have the gbpvr directory hard coded. Is your gbpvr on the d: drive also?

I will fix it.

Yes it is. Thank you sir!

(When I installed windows, I got into a jam (something SCSI related) and it put windows on my D drive. I've been paying for it ever since)
