Be good if you could just sort out the standard videos to replicate the standard next pvr one

if samsung dont accept the app when it reaches version 1 (not too far off, I need to finish off the recordings stuff and fix any bugs), then Ill just release it how ive been releasing the alpha. perhaps with some activation code needed that you can purchase.

but im really hoping they just accept it, a lot less hassle.

I wonder what happens when Samsung have to test it for acceptance? They might be like apple and require a fully functioning environment to be able to test. I guess you could have them connect to your machine over the internet for the test though? I've had to do that with Apple before.

No clue, but probably they do need to test the functionality of it, thats why it takes ages to get accepted. I could setup a test VM for them.

Hi reven,

just to make sure as I haven't seen a respons to my question yet or if I missed something? So I'm posting the question again.
I would be more than happy to participate in testing the app so please let me know whether this is still an option Y/N?
I have an UE46ES8000 (+ UE46B7000 probably to old) and an HTPC running W7 - 64bit with dual analoge & hybride tuners DVBC/T and the latest NPVR version on it.
You can contact me via my profile email address if you want to discuss in private.

Thanks in advance for responding.
Brgds.

Hi reven,
login on the ES800 as "develop" with password "develop" gave me succesfull access to the Tools menu where I can specify the server IP address.
I'm ready to go ahead.

sent you the instructions.

Closing the beta program now, I don't need any more testers. Thanks everyone.

it will be a few months away at the earliest, samsung will take 2 months (roughly) to approve to reject the app. I'm mostly finished, just doing some clean up stuff, and need to improve recordings scheduling/updating.
