This feature appears to be broken in the current build, or something has changed in the broadcast signal as Freesat EPG is no longer working, but if you view say BBC1HD and exit shows the following two programs are displayed on the EPG.

I'm using Freesat EPG on the current build and it's working for me

Are you sure its not because the Freesat transponder has recently been running at reduced power because of problems with the failing Eutelsat 28A. There have been reports of people having Freesat problems if their dish perhaps isn't optimally setup.

Even if that is not the cause the Freesat transponder is moving to an incompatible Astra satellite in a few weeks so the frequency will change. I suspect the OTA update last week for my Freesat box, the only one there has ever been, is in preparation for the change. So the frequency will have to be changed in NextPVR as well.

My Humax Freesat box is fed from the same dish and it is updating its EPG without any issues.

I live in rural Oxfordshire and the dish is not overshadowed any by man made structures.

However you may be correct as my PC runs the update during daylight thus the atmospherics may be influencing the signal.

If I watch live TV it shows the EPG information which is why I suspected an NPVR issue.

I tried updating it at 6 AM this morning but still not working.

I disabled my DVB-T cards leaving the Hauppauge S2 card on its own and tried to update the EPG.

The script ran very fast and no sign of the EPG information.

As already stated if I watch live TV the current program and the following one is displayed on the EPG.

The Now & Next EPG data is transmitted on the specific frequency for each channel. The Full FreeSat EPG is only broadcast on one frequency and that's the one selected if you use the FreeSat EPG option.
Your logs don't seem to show any FreeSat EPG data being collected and look different to mine (although that may be because I have a different tuner). Perhaps Sub could take a look and comment?
I did see a post saying he may be away at the moment so not able to reply promptly.

Are you able to watch/record FreeSat channels with your DVB-T disabled? I know that the current satellite is failing with poor coverage in the South of its footprint and imminently (this month) due to be replace with Astra 2G.

I disabled the DVB-T twin card and was able to watch live TV and record using the DVB-S2 card.
