Channels stop working overnight

I expected that your daytime channels would fail. When you do a rescan you need to make sure you don't update the channels that aren't being broadcast. By doing what you just did you broke the night time channels.

You don't need to rescan uk-night after a full scan that was just to save time scanning all the channels again, I don't want noise in the logs. Tonight when you scan after 7pm you can use uk-night but only tick BBC THREE/FOUR HD make sure that CBeebies HD and CBBD HD are not ticked when you save Then send adapter conf again. Once you confirm that we can see if there is a NextPVR issue on the save.

So after 7 tonight I will:

Use my existing.
Delete BBC3/4 from channels
Scan UKNight
Only tick BBC3/4
Click Save
Send Conf

No need to delete, just rescan tick and save.

If we confirm that works the final test will be to do the same thing with a full scan to get the SD channel synced. There are some channels like "Together TV"

Are the "Together TV" channels working? If not we can test the merge now by doing a full scan an only selecting them for the save.

There were lots of channels that didn't work, honestly

Together TV is not currently working

I deleted quite a lot of the later channel number ones that didn't work, also

There is a difference between scanning and working. Some of the frequencies need better antenna etc but might still scan. I picked Together TV because it looks like it was scanned at night.

I would have thought it would be hard to get better signal than where I am located.

I understand what you mean about the annoyance of the uk freeview, though - I had discounted a lot of those channels as not working because I thought they may be streaming services

I have no idea how those work, but they are on there - Nevermind the rest of it!

Checking each one is pretty time consuming

I used this site https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/multiplexes I am not in the UK I've read on the forum about COM4/5/6/7 being harder. Maybe you were also impacted yesterday https://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/works-warnings

Can I get the zipped NextPVR logs please? Sub will need to log at what is going on, the new scan file is updating more than what you have ticked.

If having the daytime shows is import we can manually tweak the files now before you copy them if you'd like.

Edit* - Ah -  I cant selectively delete from a device, so I'd only be able to finish doing that tomorrow

Edit Edit* - No - I'll leave 3 with day - Delete BBC3/4 and a single adapter with BBC3/4 only -That should be fine for now
