completely remove the Parser using regsvr32 /u GBPVRParser.ax. I ran that command about 5 times just to make sure it was gone then used the direct show filter manager to make sure it was gone. Then I reloaded the file using regsvr32 GBPVRParser.ax

Sub: Do you think since there are at least a few of us that have this issue something might be bad in the GBPVR installer? I am currently using the latest version .13 but I just upgraded to that version I didn't do a fresh install or anything.

I unregistered GB-PVR parser and tested both auto and manual. Both of them found the MPEG Splitter but the graphs showed no audio just like before. After I re-registered GB-PVR PArser, both auto and manual is finding the Parser. I set the setup program for ASAP converting and I'm waiting for the first show to finish but so far, it looks good. I'll post the results when I get them.

For others having this problem I think the key is that you have to unregister it first and then register it again in order to fix it. Before I tried to just register it again without unregistering it first and it didn't work. If other people could post their experiences that would be good.

Update:

The automatic transcoding finished on the first file an although I can't review the file(I'm connected remotely), I ran it through Gspot and it reports 64kbit/channel of MP3 sound. I'll test the file when I get home.
