I think I am having a similar problem with the WinTv Go. I am very new to GB-PVR so I dont know how to set up anything yet. When I click the Settings button an unhandled exception occurs. If I click through the exception a window pops up with a lot of blank pulldown options.

It's supposed to be saying 48x32 -> 768x576. I found the bug :p

It seems that this card doesn't support capture quality. You should try the stable version of the plugin (build 17) and see if that works.

build 22 is out:

- Fixed duplicate profile min/max calculations.
- Fixed bug when loading config for cards that don't have quality settings.

Kevl, Marty, Venture: please try this build.

Norman

Have installed v22 of your app.

Works perfectly. 720x576 is accepted in both LiveTV settings and in previewTV mode. Picture is superb. Colourspace settings also work. Tried RGB24 and YV12. Both work fine.

I think you should add the Sweetspot RGB capture card to the list of working cards.

Haven't tried recording yet. Dont actually have the moonlight encoders but your app makes sweetspot work very well as a TV viewer.

Many thanks for your patient help and excellent app.

Regards

Kev.

The wintv card worked fine on my other pc with GBPVR09112b.msa and wdm recorder v 16. I tried installing this same combination on my new pc but still get the "not implemented" error.
I then installed v22 of WDM recorder with GBPVR09112b.msa but alas, I still get the error message.

Marty: if the exact same combination isn't working now, then it's likely to be an installation issue. If you can send me any detailed traceback or logs it would help.

I'll try and see what I can do. I'am using the same version of windows xp on both systems. The processor is the same also but the motherboard is different. I might try and install the card in another slot as well.

I think I may have found the source of the problem. I just installed Microsoft DirectX ver 9.0 and now I am able to configure my WDM recorder settings properly. This time I get no error's and can launch Live TV ok. To save time I only configured to pick up BBC1 in the EPG , however all I see is static within Live TV at the moment - no picture. I vaugely remember that tuning assitant doesnt work for the win tv capture cards and I had to use something like frequency finder?Anyway I had the exact values for the frequecies for each channel programmed into win tv on my original pc and I took a screensnapshot of them before I uninstalled the wintv card
However right now I'am struggling to remember how to program them into my new PC so that GBPVR can tune into the channels correctly - any ideas?
Oh by the way I'am using the latest GBPVT release 95016 and wdm recorder version 22.

Yup, apparently DirectX 9 is required.

You need to put the UHF channel number in the channel list when configuring the capture source. (i.e. not 1 but rather some number >21). Check the BBC's web site to see what your local tuning channels are and use those.

As-far-as-I-know the tuning assistant only works for digital cards, and not analog cards.
