The plugin does not seem to work with the new version of GBPVR. GBPVR won't start with it enabled.

I tired it with the new version of GBPVR an it worked for me, but then again I am using a much newer version of the plug-in than the released one som maybe I fixed something without knowing it.

Can you look in the gbpvr log file and see what erorr messages it contains related to loading the plug-in?

Thanks

I've sent sub updates for both plug-ins. I haven;t had time to update the documentation yet. Hopefully all is self explainitory. The main thing is to be sure to set the settings for the plug-ins in the config.exe application. The plug-ins no longer use their own config.xml files. Also, by request I have moved all the related utilities and log files out of the main GPVR and skin directories and into a sub directory under GBPVR that must be named "Jeff" (I'm open to more orginal names if you have any).

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (Stimpy @ Nov. 27 2004,17:23)]For those of you wondering why a 4 GB movie produces a 9 GB file, it's because most DVDs are encoded with VBR encoding while the default in MPLEX.EXE is to output a CBR stream. So MPLEX has to use the peak bitrate for the entire file.

However if you add the -V option to the command line in MPLEX, the resulting file will be much smaller, even half the size in some cases. It also takes much less time to process.

Hopefully the next version of the plugin will allow us to add the -V switch to the MPLEX step.

But even with this limitation it is still a great plugin!
I'll try it from a CLI

Next is to reduce res to 352x480, bit rate to about 2Mb and Adio down to 128k.

@Jeff:

Rejig information is

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
-i <FileName> Adds a filename(s) for a Job. i.e. "E:\rip\1.mpg + e:\rip\2.mpg"
-o <FileName> Sets the output filename for the next input file specified by -i
-close Automatically Closes the program after processing.
-quiet Will not prompt for overwriting but will overwrite automatically
-auto Automatically sets the program on a RecompressAll
-level Compression level in percentage, put before the input file (default: 70.0)
-size Size in MB for the output file (automatically assumes 2Pass)

Examples:
ReJig -i e:\rip\CCEData.txt -auto -close -quiet
ReJig -level 65 -o "e:\rip\big_small.m2v" -i "e:\rip\big.vob"
ReJig -size 50 -o "e:\rip\big_small_50mb.m2v" -i "e:\rip\big.vob"

I just upgraded to 2.38 and installed the beta version of this plugin. Note that I did not have v2 installed. When I run config.exe, I am unable to edit any of the fields on the config form as the field are disabled. Please enable the fields or tell me how to manually configure this plugin.

Thanks!

The directory fields can only be set using the browse button to navigate to the target directories. The other fields should all be editable.

I've downloaded the latest version. It won't let me set the paths in the config utility. Is there something I'm doing wrong? The browse buttons are disabled.
