Sorry, you're right, it was late and I was being an idiot!! I'll record you ~200Mb later while you're fast asleep!

Please ignore all the BBC HD stuff around the VBR picture (the audio channel NPVR choses is still an issue though!) as it turns out it's a PDVD codec issue. The MS H264 decoder works an awful lot better which is presumably what media player uses.

This morning after recording this when I tried NPVR it was OK though... but last night it was definitely stuttering when GBPVR was fine.I just tried this file here this morning, and all these RTL channels seem to give me audio. Was it a specific channel giving you problems? Can you start NPVR, view that channel, confirm the audio is incorrect, then post the npvr.log?
Thanks for the latest patch sub.
With it, I get a good scan with my Compro S350 on UK TV (including HD). Playback is also good for both my S350 and Nova S2. However, I get a scanning crash every time on the Nova S2 now!! Also....has anyone got DISEQC working? When I set my S2 to Astra 19 as A and Hotbird as B (simple A/B) or use the DISEQC option, it goes through the motion of scanning, but doesn't find anything. I'll post logs and crash dumps when I get upstairs in a sec. Daniel

Hi People, first post here so please be nice. I have a TBS6980 dual tuner card which is working reasonably well on Optus C1/D3 and decrypting OK as well. My problem is with one transponder on C1 (12689 H) which crashes each time I try to scan it. I have taken this out of the transponder file and don't have any problems with the almost full channel set.
My question is along the lines of diseqc as well, I have a multiswitch which connects between my C1/D3 setup and a C-band Asiasat 5 setup but I can't seem to scan both sets of channels at once. Is this a possible quirk of the TBS card or is it something else ? Also, is Npvr able to use the TBS card for DVB-S2 signals now ? Other than these small issues, I really love this application. It does almost exactly what I am after and gives great picture quality. Thanks in advance for any replies
Just read this thread after having the same issues. To summarise in order to get a scan in the UK on Astra 2A, 2B, 2D you'll need to:
- Change the setup of the LNB in NPVR to lof1=9750 switch=11700 and lof2=10600 (Care of Martin123 in post 13) - Apply patch entitled NPVRTSMon.zip (latest reference to this patch name is by Sub in post 43) - Apply patch entitled NShared.zip (referenced by Sub in post 35) - Once downloaded extract the individual files from the downloaded zips and copy to the installation path of NPVR which will be "C:\Program Files\NPVR" on Windows 32bit OS or "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR" on a Windows 64bit OS NB: in my case I first had to rename the existing dll file by deltelting 'dll' and adding 'old' then copying the new file into the folder above Please correct anything if I am wrong.
